The Whiteboard That Changed Everything
Fifteen years ago, I came across a statistic that stopped me cold.
24,000 children, five years old and younger, die every single day.
From only two causes. Not enough food. Not enough water. They literally dehydrate and turn into human jerky. By the time we take a shower, 24,000 children have died.
I wrote that number on a whiteboard. And below it, I wrote a question to myself:
"Carter, what are you going to do about that?"
